With 30 years of architectural and construction experience. President & Founder of US-BES, Frank has performed proficiently in a wide variety of architectural disciplines. His forward-thinking and progressive approach have led him to become a sought-out architectural consultant for landmark renovations and high-performance building energy projects.
Frank is licensed in Illinois as a Public Adjuster, Roofing Contractor, and Home Inspector. In Chicago, he is a licensed General Contractor and a Brick & Concrete Masonry Contractor (Class A).
He is a commissioner of the Hinsdale Preservation Commission. Also, a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the Association of Licensed Architects (ALA), and a Green Globes Professional (GGP).
Frank's 15 years of teaching, easy demeanor and passion for teaching and mentor-ship has led him to the Illinois Roofing Academy. He will work with the students to make sure they are retaining the material to pass their IL roofing exam on the very first try.

Del Beard Del Beard has over 22 years’ teaching experience, and is well-versed in roofing theory and related topics. In his true passion of teaching, Del has created and presented classes in 22 states, helped over 3000 Illinois roofing and public adjusting students receive their licenses, authored 17 textbooks, published articles in national publications, and has been an expert witness in several complex liability insurance cases. He also consults for over one hundred clients in public adjusting, commercial property, and worker’s compensation matters. All of his material is everything that you need to pass your Illinois roofing examination.

Del was born and raised in Park Forest, Illinois. After graduating from the University of Charleston in 1983, he worked at Travelers Insurance as a commercial underwriter. This was followed by twelve years as an insurance broker and then Senior Vice President at Wells Fargo, specializing in manufacturers, contractors, and municipalities. And since 1998, he has been designing and presenting pre-licensing and continuing education courses in insurance and construction.
